The Water Purifier Geysir is an elegant food-grade and NSF-certified stainless steel model (quality 304 for water purification). It is quick and easy to attach to the kitchen faucet and can be freely placed on a suitable spot on the countertop. It is easy to move, clean, and replace cartridges. All filtration technologies from Planets Own are compatible with this purifier, allowing you to choose your preferred cartridge.
Filtration Technology:
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a high-tech method developed in Japan that mimics nature’s way of purifying water. The cartridge contains “hollow fibers” resembling ultra-thin straws, with millions of tiny pores measuring as small as 0.01 micrometers. This effectively blocks unwanted substances and toxins, including microplastics, bacteria, parasites, viruses, heavy metals, and more. Essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, salts, and trace elements are small enough to pass through the filter. When the filter becomes clogged with impurities, the water flow will decrease significantly, indicating it’s time to replace the cartridge.
The second part of the filter cartridge is made of tightly compressed activated carbon in block form. This section further blocks particles but is primarily designed to efficiently remove pharmaceutical residues, environmental toxins (e.g., PFAS from firefighting foam and industrial chemicals), and over 80 different chemicals. Activated carbon also removes radon, bad odors, and tastes, as well as turbidity.
These two filtration methods complement each other, both being highly effective and pure, ensuring no substances are released into the water.
