The Shield Immune Factors 30 capsules Rohtos Labs

The Shield Immune Factors from Rohtos Labs is developed to support the body’s immune function and the metabolic processes that remove waste products. Suitable for those who often spend time in urban environments and are exposed to pollution, or for those who want to maintain their performance the day after alcohol intake. Supports liver well-being in general.

The capsules contain a blend of essential micronutrients and plant extracts related to these functions, including vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, selenium, and quercetin. These include a comprehensive mix of compounds and cofactors that support the production of glutathione and limit its depletion.

Usage – The Shield Immune Factors

Recommended dosage: 1-3 capsules daily. Take on an empty stomach or with fat. Suitable for controlling inflammation, replenishing the body’s antioxidant capacity, and supporting the processing of metabolic waste products and external harmful substances.

Supplements are not a substitute for a healthy diet. The product must be kept out of reach of small children. Not recommended for children or pregnant women.

Rohtos Labs products are manufactured in Finland without preservatives or additives.

Immune Function and Metabolic Processes

Physical stress, dietary choices, infections, and many other factors generate metabolic stress, which causes inflammation and affects our performance levels. Metabolic stress means that the metabolism in cells is strained. It is mainly caused by a lack of oxygen and leads to low creatine phosphate levels and an acidic environment (low pH).

About – The Shield Immune Factors

Glutathione is the largest antioxidant used by every cell and tissue in the body, essential for immune cell response and how the body responds to inflammation, as well as the mechanism by which our body handles metabolic waste products.

Glutathione can bind to a range of toxic molecules to form harmless complexes that are then quickly excreted from the body. This process applies to both external molecules and endogenous ones: hormone waste, lactic acid buildup in active muscles, inflammatory compounds, fungal toxins, and carcinogens such as acetaldehyde.

Immune stress, inflammation, and excessive waste production deplete glutathione. Supporting glutathione metabolism is a functional supplement strategy with extensive therapeutic and ergogenic potential.

The content of The Shield has been shown to indirectly support physical performance, as increased glutathione through supplementation has been shown to support ATP production, improve lipid metabolism, and eliminate lactic acid from muscles during exercise, leading to less muscle fatigue.

About the Content – The Shield Immune Factors:

Milk Thistle Extract

Milk thistle extract is an herbal extract that comes from the milk thistle plant, also known as Silybum marianum. Milk Thistle is native to southern Europe to Asia. It is now found all over the world.

The extract consists of 80% silymarin and 20% fatty acids, including linoleic acid. Silymarin is a complex mixture of polyphenolic molecules, including seven closely related flavonolignans.

Nopal Cactus Extract

Nopal cactus, Opuntia ficus-indica, is a cactus species originating in Mexico. It has long been a cultivated plant in arid parts of the world.

Nopal is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It contains the flavonoids kaempferol and quercetin.

Quercetin is a well-studied flavonoid. It is found in many plants and foods, such as red wine, onions, green tea, apples, berries, and Ginkgo biloba.

Like some other flavonoids, quercetin has a wide range of health benefits. It is synergistic with other flavonoids, enhancing their properties.

N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is an acetylated form of the high bioavailability amino acid L-cysteine, a building block of glutathione.

Taurine is an amino acid, a chemical that is a necessary building block of protein. The best dietary sources of taurine are meat and fish.

Taurine is involved in the maintenance of most organ systems in the body.

Piperine is the alkaloid responsible for the pungency of black pepper, Piper Nigrum. Piperine can inhibit key liver enzymes that would otherwise break down other molecules faster. Because of this, it is taken along with supplements to increase their absorption rate.

The purpose of piperine in The Shield is to increase the absorption and bioavailability of other bioactive compounds. The piperine in The Shield is extracted from black pepper and has 95% purity.

Alpha Lipoic Acid

Alpha-lipoic acid is a mitochondrial compound involved in energy metabolism.

It is synthesized in the body and can be consumed by eating meat. It is also found in certain fruits and vegetables in trace amounts.

Choline Bitartrate

Choline bitartrate is a cholinergic compound, i.e., a substance that contains choline and increases choline availability when consumed. Choline is found in large amounts in eggs.

Choline is an essential nutrient for the liver. Although the liver can make small amounts, most must be obtained from the diet.

Magnesium is an essential dietary mineral and the second most common electrolyte in the human body. Prominent sources of magnesium include nuts and leafy vegetables.

Magnesium deficiency is common in the Western diet. Magnesium is required for the synthesis of glutathione in the body.

Zinc is an essential mineral involved in antioxidant enzymes, brain and liver function, and the immune system, among many other biological roles.

Meat, egg, and legume products are common sources of zinc.

Selenium is an essential mineral that can be found in organic and inorganic forms. The primary active dietary form is selenomethionine, the form used in The Shield.

Selenium is found in high amounts in seafood, meat, and eggs, but it can vary widely. Dairy is also a significant source, as are nuts and seeds. Brazil nuts contain the most selenium per gram of all measured foods.
