Description
Sleep Tape™ Sensitive Conscious Breathing (1-month supply)
A good night’s sleep is crucial for good health, energy, and overall well-being. During sleep, you should activate the calming part of your nervous system so your body can heal and repair itself and activate your immune system. Sleeping with an open mouth leads in the opposite direction and keeps you in a state of fight or flight, which is why the way you breathe while you sleep is of great importance.
Use Sleep Tape™
Since you can’t easily monitor how you breathe while you sleep, using Sleep Tape™ ensures that your mouth stays closed at night so you only breathe through your nose.
Benefits of using Sleep Tape™
Taping your mouth at night is a noticeably simple yet extremely powerful tool. Common feedback is that people wake up more alert in the morning, sleep more calmly, don’t wake up during the night, and need less sleep.
Avoid hyperventilation: If you sleep with an open mouth, your breathing will automatically exceed the body’s needs, and you will hyperventilate. This disrupts the balance between oxygen and carbon dioxide, causing either oxygen deficiency or oxygen poisoning (too much oxygen) or both.
Keeps the mouth closed: Applying tape to the mouth at night is a simple and inexpensive way to ensure that the mouth remains closed and breathing occurs only through the nose. This makes your breathing work for you instead of against you.
Wake up refreshed: Nasal breathing is the first step towards calm breathing habits. Nasal breathing during sleep increases the chance that your body can relax and get the rest it needs.
Provides deep sleep: Restless sleep is common among those who breathe through their mouth at night. When we perceive danger, we automatically open our mouths. It’s an inherited reaction linked to our fight/flight/freeze system. To promote deep sleep, the fight/flight/freeze system needs to be set aside, which is easier to achieve when our mouth is closed.

How to use Sleep Tape™
You might think it sounds crazy, or feel uncomfortable with the mere thought of applying tape to your mouth – a common reaction among people when they first hear about taping their mouth. But the discomfort is usually just a mental hurdle, and after trying it for a few minutes, most people find that they get used to it quickly.
Tape vertically or horizontally: Sleep Tape can be applied either horizontally or vertically. Some users find that the vertical approach is less intimidating.
Be persistent: You may wake up without tape on your mouth because it is common to remove the tape in your sleep during the first, second, and maybe third night. Be persistent and continue to apply the tape.
Practice before bedtime: If you feel uncomfortable or anxious, we suggest you apply the tape for ten to fifteen minutes a few evenings, or as long as you need, to become more comfortable with the feeling.
Get your partner to tape too: You might think it’s not very sexy to tape your mouth at night, but you can always snuggle first and then tape your mouth. Some prefer to wait to apply the tape until their partner has fallen asleep. Maybe you can get your partner to tape their mouth too?
Viscose
Viscose is a textile fiber made from natural cellulose materials, usually wood or cotton. The process involves dissolving cellulose to create a viscous solution that is then extruded through small holes to form fibers. These fibers can then be spun into yarn and woven into fabric.
- Soft and Comfortable: Viscose has a silk-like feel and is very soft, making it comfortable to wear and use against the skin.
- Absorbent: Viscose has good moisture absorption properties, making it good for clothes and textiles used close to the body.
- Breathable: The material is breathable and allows air to circulate, contributing to comfort.
- Versatile: Viscose can mimic other fibers like cotton, linen, and silk, and is therefore used in a variety of products from clothing to home textiles.
- More Eco-friendly Option: Since it is made from natural cellulose sources, it is seen as a more environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic fibers like polyester, although the manufacturing process can be chemically intensive.
Viscose is thus a versatile and comfortable material used in many textile products, including Sleep Tape™, for its hypoallergenic and skin-friendly properties.
